Текущая рыночная цена акции компании, деленная на доход в расчете на одну акцию (eammgs per share) той же компании (как правило - годовой). Данный показатель выражается в виде числа (например, 5 или 10) и обычно называется аналитическим показателем (multiple) компании. Грубо говоря, можно считать, что это количество лет, которое потребуется компании, чтобы заработать сумму, равную ее рыночной стоимости. Высокие аналитические показатели, обычно сочетающиеся с низкими доходами (yields), свидетельствуют о быстром росте компании, низкие аналитические показатели - об отсутствии роста. Отношение цены акции к доходу по ней представляет собой один из важнейших показателей всестороннего анализа, помогающий установить, дешевы или дороги акции компании относительно ситуации на рынке.
